Ludicrous
In developing "Ludicrous Goose: Boss Brawls," project management played a crucial role in orchestrating the project's progress. As the Project Manager, I adeptly employed strategic planning to outline the game's objectives and establish a roadmap for development. Through meticulous time management, I ensured that tasks, such as designing boss battles and implementing player abilities, were completed efficiently.
Resource allocation was vital in identifying and utilizing resources effectively, such as programming libraries and art assets, to streamline development. Additionally, risk management was integral in anticipating and addressing potential challenges, like technical constraints or gameplay balance issues, to maintain project momentum and quality.
In "Ludicrous Goose: Boss Brawls," my project management skills facilitated smooth project execution, enabling the successful realization of the game's concept into a fully functional product. This project exemplifies the importance of effective project management in guiding individual endeavors to completion.
Allen Cyber Invitational
In the Allen Cyber Invitational, I served as the Project Manager. This meant that I was the first one in every meeting and the last one out. I was there to make this competition happen and if that meant organizing and assigning tasks to those who have particular strong suits than that's what I was doing. During my time as the project manager I kept the machine that was our group running, spacing breaks and spearheading our vision into reality. This also meant I was the one responsible for meeting with investors as well as other authorities. This certainly wasn't a small task putting hundreds of hours over the course of just a few months into making this competiton happen but it was worth every second!
This experience was truly valuable to me I had served as a Project Manager on my ISP in the previous year. However, this was a different ball game and I learned so much. I learned how to get people to work efficiently together and how to keep members motivated and not burnt out whilst still undershooting our deadlines and constantly getting stellar work done.
