Allen Cyber Invitational

In the Allen Cyber Invitational I had to work with companies constantly, hosting a expensive event with an underline of it being free for the competitior meant trying to get the funds through corporate sponsorship. I talked with lots of companies and had to encourage them to not only agree to fund this endevour but to try and get them to put even more money down. This sharp introduction into Negotiation at the corporate level had an extremely sharp learning curve but I managed to get the hang of it successfully getting corporate sponsorship for the competition.

This Experience has taught me that working with companies nd learning how the corporate world works is something that is crucial to my future. I've learned how to Negotiate, how to convince corporations and how to conduct Business Meetings.
